09.01.2022 A great follow up article in the Yarrawonga Chronicle which even mentions our crew rescuing a dog! On day 2 our sweep David heard a dog barking near the bank and saw this fella with his nose and eyes above the water caught under tree roots. Campers nearby had heard him barking all night but couldn’t determine where it was coming from. Our support boat went back and got him out, and took him to an emergency vet. He was in shock and had early stages of hypothermia, but was all ok after some much needed medical attention, and his microchip ensured he was reunited with his owners.
