20.01.2022 Ranked #2 of 37 2020 Pinot Gris in Australia Pale straw colour with some greening on edges. Greengage, struck-flint and honeysuckle on the nose. On the tongue, this is quite slippery - it's more about mouth-feel than a flavour bomb. There's pears, broken shells and soft green herbs in the mix. Flows with weight into the finish yet doesn't sit heavy or cloying. It's a lovely contrast of weight with quite low alcohol. 17.01.2022 Like a fine wine, we’ve decided to wait a little longer before re-opening our kitchen. Small spaces and current social distancing requirements make it unviable for us to serve food just yet. We will reassess from 22nd June. In the meantime, we are still open Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-5pm for wine sales with 20% off regular cellar door prices. So, if you’re heading to the Yarra Valley to get out and about, be sure to drop in and pick up a bottle or two to enjoy with family and friends over a nice home cooked meal.
