22.01.2022 We are on the lookout for a gun of a barista & all rounder to join our team 4-5 days on a casual weekly basis. We are a family-run, beach-side café / restaurant, with a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an individual with barista experience, and preferably some all-rounder experience as well as extensive / full availability. Someone who is a fast-learner, with strong communication skills, and able to take direction is preferred. As a barista you will have a lot of i...ndependence within the business - however as a small-business we tend to share responsibilities, and so running coffee/food and serving is sometimes required. 22.01.2022 With Santa back in town, the Lions Club of Hallett Cove & Districts will be bringing Santa around the streets of Hallett Cove, Sheidow Park and Trott Park agai...n. Unfortunately things will need to be a bit different this year with social distancing so no getting aboard the sleigh with Santa. First run will be tomorrow night - 16 Nov starting on Edward Beck near the Woodend Primary School. We will also have our traditional Lions Christmas Cakes & Puddings available - $17 Large, $13 Small plus puddings. EFTPOS will be available. The sleigh program is subject to weather. If over 35 degrees at 5:00 pm then Santa will retreat to his snow cave.

14.01.2022 sip, sip hooray! some important info (and trading hour changes) we now stock Mr Riggs Sauvignon Blanc & Shiraz by the glass & bottle ~ in the month of October (aka Gaffer Month) for every dozen of the Gaffer Shiraz sold, Mr Riggs will donate the proceedings of one bottle to the Flinders Foundation in the fight against cancer. From tomorrow (the 10th of October) we will be open for dinner (Fridays & Saturdays)! 12.01.2022 We know its a chaotic time so we just wanted to give an update for the Boatshed We will be closed in the coming days for lockdown as a result there is no need to cancel booking that were scheduled during the lockdown. We are also pausing bookings for the foreseeable future while we figure out our next steps. We are hoping that once the 6 days are up, we will at least be able to open our takeaway kiosk and have hot food, as well as take-home meals available. ... We appreciate everyones thoughts and support at this time

03.01.2022 public holiday PSA! unfortunately the main café is closed on public holidays (such as tomorrow) - however, our kiosk (located on the north side of the building) will be open 9 til 4 for all your coffee, sweets, and hot food cravings!
