17.01.2022 Well 2020, what can I say, its been on hell of a ride!Heading into our 4th year of trade I thought we might have had this small business thing sussed out, but how wrong we were. We came through our busiest summer yet, rolled into March getting ready for things to slow down, and then the Virus that shall not be mentioned hit! Deryck and I sat down and crunched the numbers to figure out how we would survive and most importantly keep our staff in a job. Then everything went a li...ttle mad, toilet gate happened and we were all working 12 hour days to try and pack as many orders as we could. Bob and Jim’s is so lucky to have had such amazing local support of our small store which helped us continue through the chaos of lockdown. We are forever grateful to the Esperance community for the continued love and support you guys show us. It’s amazing to think that this little shop is still running after 48 years! Our customers are very important to us and the one thing COVID lockdown highlighted was how much we missed the daily interactions we have with you all. My biggest thank you this year is to our staff. We are a family at Bob and Jims and I am forever grateful for the amazing group I get to work with everyday. The bad sense of humor, strange dress sense and funky dance moves help make the hard times all that much easier. Thanks for being such a group of bloody legends.
