What is your favourite colour? Pink and lilac! ... Where is the most exotic place you have bought a brooch or a pair of earrings? I bought some cool jewellery pieces in the Dominican Republic back in 2007! I think they were wooden. What is you go to brooch and earring?( and don’t worry it does not have to be Bobbi Frances ) I LOVE my Bobbi Frances Alexis earrings! I bought them from Kat at Finders Keepers last year, I love them! I am a HUGE fan! (Nawwww thanks B) What is the favourite part of your job? Dreaming up all of the fun and colourful workshops! I also love creating all the branding & colourful branding materials. I’m a visual person and I love playing with colour and putting together colour combinations! I also love the people! It puts such a smile on my face working with kids, they seriously make me laugh! I love the teens and adults too! I adore watching adults light up when they have created something, a lot of adults say they aren’t creative, so when they create something they are proud of, it makes me soooo happy! If you could travel right now where would you go and why? Back to Canada to see my family. I’m getting teary eyed right now thinking about this as we were meant to be in Canada this year! It has been a year and a half and I miss them so much and can’t wait to give them all a big hug! Especially my Gammy (Grandma). How have you survived Covid year? I am also a qualified teacher, so I was lucky to actually pick up more work at school when I had to close the studio down. I also pivoted my business and created some at home art kits. Our landlord was amazing too, he gave me a discount on rent for a few months. All of these things helped my biz to survive! What have you learnt from it? Not to just rely on workshops and in studio events. I am working on creating an online course now that can be sold even in a pandemic. 11.01.2022 All THE HAPPY FEELS I have pretty much finished organising my work space now. With a little help from a friend I put up my Ikea peg board and have sorted through and put all the pieces big and small in to categories. It is a happy feeling. Whilst I enjoy a clean work space it doesn’t take long to look like it has had a heard of elephants walk through it .
