25.01.2022 Only 2 more sleeps until the 2019 Rodeo kicks off and this year is shaping up to be bigger than ever! Tickets are available for purchase at the gate for cash only. Seniors will be required to present their concession card on the day.

25.01.2022 Hello there Rodeo fans Hope you have put November 7 on the calendar. We have started our busy bees to get our grounds in the best condition for this years Rodeo. Boddington Shire is taking bookings through the Boddington Caravan Park. We are into the overflow areas already but dont panic as there are plenty of spots on the Golf Course. Ring 98834999 to book your spot. Tickets for the Rodeo itself will be available at the gates and will be online as well once we set this up.... We will be looking forward to see you all on the first Saturday in November. See more

22.01.2022 This is it Folks Lions Club of Boddington are ready to hold the 44th tomorrow. Competitors are setting up and the scenery is changing with swags,tents and vans flowing in. There is entertainment up at the Boddington Club on Club Drive with great food as well.

Lions Club of Boddington is happy to bring you the 44th Rodeo on November 7 We will be putting the shade sails up this weekend along with the last minute jobs, probably a few days worth to be honest. The venue is looking great and needs a crowd and some action come Rodeo Day.... Our volunteers will be wearing bright green vests , so they wont be hard to see. Whether they are showing you where to park or going through the gates or serving behind the bar . Check out the parking map and a few other things of interest that will be happening locally. Covid safe practices will be adhered to during the event, so be please dont be offended if approached by our team . 14.01.2022 Hi everyone Thanks for your patience in waiting to hear news about the Boddington Lions Club Rodeo on November 7. First up, online tickets for the Rodeo are happening. Head to EVENTBRITE to purchase your entry tickets . For all your camping needs, please contact Boddington Shire 98834999.... We have just put in place, our new office ,thanks to our Lion members and BOOM cranes. Also another Ladies toilet block, thanks to our members and NEWMONT for giving us a lift. Our food stalls and vendors are all coming on board, so plenty to see and eat, attractions for all ages. A new lick of paint for the dance floor so polish the dancing shoes n boots for some great bands to rock away the night. Stay tuned and thanks again for your continued support. 14.01.2022 WOOHOO 2 Sleeps to go Big day at the Rodeo Grounds today with the Shade Sails now in place. Plenty of hands on deck to finalise a number of jobs. A world first here in Boddington with our new recycling bins that arrived today. So if you can play your part in putting cans and drink containers only into the bins in the photos please.... 11.01.2022 Vale Gerry Taylor The Boddington Lions Club recently lost a Charter Member of our Club and a true gentleman. We wont see the likes of Gerry again. Even though he farmed in Quindanning and was a stalwart of the Quindanning Races we like to claim Gerry as well. On behalf of Gerrys family , there will be a memorial service out at Gerrys farm on Friday March 13 . Starting at 11am and with refresments afterwards. Be good to see some of his mates out there.... 10.01.2022 - Rodeo Recovery Breakfast - There is nothing better than a cooked hot breakfast and a coffee the morning after a big Rodeo! Well we've got you covered! Come and join the Boddington Lions Club on Sunday 3rd November for breakfast at the Rodeo Grounds. Kicking off at 6am with a coffee van also on site!

08.01.2022 Just to let all of the fans of Boddington Rodeo that on December 14 some of our club headed to the ABCRA awards night held at Chapel Farm. We went to support our very own Mr. Stan "Rodeo" Sherry as we heard a rumour that a surprise was about to occur. Stan was awarded the ABCRA Member of the Year for his involvement in the Boddington Lions Rodeo over the past 39 years. Well done Stan from all the members of our Club and everyone else that you have helped over that time.

06.01.2022 Hello there Rodeo fans The Lions Club has been working towards this years event on November 7, we have been getting some great help from the Boddington Shire as always. This year they have been carting dirt to help us extend the food van area which will be levelled and gravelled. Well done to the team. All our prices for entry are the same as the last few years, gate sales are... Adults $35 Seniors $20 Kids $10 Ages 6 to 18 Under 6 Free We are also selling tickets online through Eventbrite , there is a management fee atttached as well. We ask everyone to remember the Covid 19 guidelines that are in place . Hand sanitizer will be available upon entry and in the bar area. Hopefully by Rodeo time other restrictions may be eased as well. For all your camping requirements contact the Boddington Shire on 98834999, 41 sleeps to go. We have connected another toilet block this year, good job by Crossman Hot Water and Plumbing, as well as the new office . 06.01.2022 Not long to go now...three more sleeps. When you come into Boddington this year you will find electronic message boards with directions as we have changed some of the entry points. If you follow the signs you will arrive at your happy place and our volunteers in green vests will guide you in. See you there.

03.01.2022 3 sleeps to go. We have had some rain this week to help settle the dust. The weather will be fantastic on Saturday and we have record entries for the competitors. As the week builds towards Boddingtons Big Weekend the excitement will slowly build.... Our shade sails will go up tomorrow and we will be putting the finishing touches to the venue. See more

Our newly painted dance floor is ready and some of the bands that will get you on it are The Sheds Kathy Carver and the Straymen The Pale Moon Riders... Sally Jane Roosta and Tomme Jones We have added some music through the early afternoon as well. We will have 2 ATM machines at the 2 main gates and have ensured we wont run out of cash this year, the electronic payment options will be there as well. Our sponsors have certainly been busy and we will be acknowledging them so you know who they are. 01.01.2022 13 Sleeps to go. The Lions Club met with our Shire yesterday and all the camping spots are now fully booked. A local option 12 minutes away is Armoin Camping. On Rodeo Day there is NO BYO, and you will need to have a drink in our licensed areas. In the bar area there will be several TVs to view the action from the arena.
