25.01.2022 Thanks to Trent, we were excited to host some of this amazing group of about 200 people from Shattered World for a medieval game they 'played' while in Boddington in late April. Next time they are here we hope to share some more information. Here are some highlights.

25.01.2022 That time of year again ..... for The Bodd Music Festival. Always popular and will be again this year with some returning artists.

23.01.2022 Over the past 18 months, many hands have been working hard behind the scenes to create something fresh and exciting to drive tourism into the Marradong region. The Marradong Country Self-Drive Trails is an initiative of HWEDA (Hotham Williams Economic Development Alliance), which sees the Shires of Boddington, Wandering and Williams working together with major stakeholders. This teaser video will give you an idea of what is coming in the next few weeks and we would love it if you would get behind the project by following and sharing our social media channels with your networks. 22.01.2022 Were welcoming the Perth City Street Machine Club to #Boddington this weekend for the Boddington Motor Show. Therell probably be more petrol fumes than dust, so if youd like a day out this weekend, this is the only place to head to.

In short, when the railway line was built from Pinjarra via Dwellingup and further inland, the town of Marradong was relocated and renamed Boddington. Marradong Country now includes Wandering & Williams. To give you an experience of this little known region that is just 90 mins from the Perth CBD, there will be 5 drive trails launched soon. 12.01.2022 With the WA Sculpture Town project to be launched this weekend in conjunction with the annual Lions Rodeo, you'll be pleased to know that you can learn all about each sculpture as you observe it.

A grassy slope behind the 'old school' and next to the caravan park, overlooks the river where you can have an evening BBQ and a glass of wine, while the setting sun paints a picture in the clouds above. In early 2018 the Council proposed a $2.5m investment to develope the foreshore and put Boddington on the map. The project commenced in February 2020 and the rest is history. The project is due for completion at the end of this month - May 2020. Have a look at the plans below and follow the construction at Hotham Park

02.01.2022 WE ARE STILL TRADING Just letting everyone know that the Motel is still open for business, as is all accommodation. We are fortunate to be in the Perth / Peel travel restriction Zone, and yes we have had some cancellations. But the emails of support we have received like the one below, gives us the drive to offer even a better experience when all the travel restrictions are lifted. Karen & Rod,... Given the advice of isolating as much as possible, it makes more sense to cancel on this occasion and keep your details so we can re book when we get past this awful situation.
