23.01.2022 Take nothing but photographs , leave nothing but footprints , and aim to give back to the earth as much as you take. This beach is bursting with trees and fallen branches that have been softened and stripped by the elements. A really serene spot with gentle lapping waves and soft, natural colours. I think I’ll stay a while #nature #naturephotography #conservation #protectourplanet #wildlifeprotection #travelphotography #nationalpark #photographywithbodhi #createwithbodhi #countryvictoria #eastgippsland

23.01.2022 Give me a camera and some nature to explore and I’ll happily entertain myself for hours After getting some more photography work this year, I decided to invest in some new equipment to take my photography services to the next level. The lens and camera combo shown here gave me my first taste of macro photography at a super high resolution, opening up a wonderful tiny world, which unlike our own, was thriving at the time. ... A welcome escape that couldn’t have come at a better time! See you behind the lens in 2021!

20.01.2022 What a treat to come across this beautiful koala hanging out in the canopy of some very healthy looking gums in Sale Common. Koalas are on track to be extinct by 2050 in NSW according to a report by the NSW parliament, which means we’re at a critical stage in preserving this species for future generations. 17.01.2022 Last concept for the 'Give me some Bamboo' campaign.

16.01.2022 This house is full of good memories. As a kid I would often holiday nearby with my family, stopping by this place to spend time with my grandpa George (who lived here at the time), who’d always have a sweet treat from the local bakery waiting for us. It’s very creatively inspiring to stay somewhere so full of heart and brimming with stories and the warmth of family connection. I’ve been spoilt for choice when it comes to subjects to photograph. Here’s one I took today...... #family #memories #photography #photographywithbodhi #nostalgia #familyphotos #vacation #countryvictoria #creativity #creative #inspiration #createwithbodhi

14.01.2022 Concept 4 for the 'Give me some Bamboo' campaign. Another upbeat, lighthearted piece that hopefully brings a glimmer of light to your day during this heavy time for us all.

14.01.2022 Enjoying the way this vibrant ground-cover plant has draped itself over these fallen branches like a blanket, as if trying to reach out and touch the water just metres away. The view from the shoreline at this secluded little beach at the end of the Oil Bore Track in @lochsport national park. #nature #naturephotography #conservation #protectourplanet #wildlifeprotection #naturelover #travelphotography #nationalpark #photographywithbodhi #createwithbodhi #countryvictoria #eastgippsland

10.01.2022 I’m heading east for a week or two for some much-needed r&r in country Victoria, to the house where my dear grandpa lived until he passed. Packed light, and hoping for warmth!

08.01.2022 Care for a bush picnic? This picnic table has seen better days. Liken/moss has built up on the seats and table, and nature has reclaimed the area around and under the table with bracken and new growth. This adds lots of colour and interesting textures, which pop even more on this wet, drizzling day. ... #nature #naturephotography #conservation #protectourplanet #travelphotography #nationalpark #photographywithbodhi #createwithbodhi #countryvictoria #eastgippsland

07.01.2022 2020 has nudged me in many different directions. As work dried up and everyone focused on putting one foot in front of the other, opportunities to learn and expand my freelance business presented themselves. I learnt to code, I deepened my knowledge of branding and marketing, and I invested in a newly rekindled passion for photography. I really lent on creativity to help me get through COVID and life in lockdown, as I think so many people did. It is such a wonderful distraction and companion in any dark and heavy situation. And if you really embrace it, it can even turn dark into light. Here’s to a lighter world with more joy, playfulness and creativity in 2021.
