15.01.2022 Thought Id spoil my boys with a little naughty but very nutritious home made Garlic Bread made with Bodhis White Spelt Gourmet Rolls. My 5 year old said, it was A HIT! Bodhis White Spelt Gourmet Rolls are a soft summer roll that gives all the taste and texture of a soft white roll but is made using the more nutritious and less allergy sensitive spelt flour alternative and natural vitamins and minerals. A good Source of Fibre, proteins & natural vitamins and minerals. Many of our customers report, whilst spelt still contains gluten, it is much more tolerable and less irritable than wheat gluten. Spelt is an excellent soure fo vitamin B2 and a good source of manganese, magnesium, niacin, thiamine and copper.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a common gastrointestinal disorder characterised by lower abdominal pain, bloating, excessive wind, distension and altered bowel habit (diarrhoea and/or constipation). FODMAPs are carbohydrates that are poorly absorbed in the small intestine. IBS symptoms may be aggravated when FODMAP containing foods are consumed. 07.01.2022 Ever tried a Savoury Pancake? I created layers of Labneh (yoghurt cheese) and Zaatar (Middle Eastern herb mix) with all the trimmings. I used Bodhis Sugar Free Pancake mix to create this delicious creation. Its as simple as adding 260ml of water to the bottle and vigorously mixing until combined. Let the mixture sit in the bottle for approximately 5 minutes to thicken, then its ready to make the most scrumptious puffy creation! ... Anyone else tried or made a Savoury pancake?? Please share!!!

01.01.2022 Bodhis Bakehouse Sourdough Spelt loaf! Made with fresh shredded pumpkin, pumpkin seed and turmeric! This is a great source of dietary fibre, protein (which it contains more of than common wheat), and vitamins and minerals. The Spelt grain is also more water-soluble than wheat, which makes it easier for the body to digest. It is crusty on the outside and soft inside. Try it as toast with your favourite topping, sandwich or even for entertaining with a side of Extra Virgin Olive oil!
