25.01.2022 2020 - the year for a rebrand Last year I was so determined to make a name for myself with my business & I completely and utterly failed I went into everything with all the wrong reasons... I was hiding behind other people because I was too afraid to go on my own I just wanted to be successful without actually acknowledging with myself what I wanted out of my business In the end I burnt myself out and completely shut myself off from everything & everyone in my life I don’t regret any of this happening because it’s made me truly resonate with what I want to do in life with my business No more hiding away behind others and their pull for achievements in life 2020 is a new year for everything, starting with new branding! 20.01.2022 Ever meet someone for the first time that you could potentially be working with and feel like they don’t really let you know who they are? It’s one thing I have come to believe we need to start doing more often, which is why I’m writing this to introduce myself to you all. I’m Kim & this is my business, Bodies by Kim, which I would love to build up into helping women live their best life.... Unfortunately the answer to this is, you cannot pick and choose where you want to lose fat from The reality around body fat is that we have no control over how our bodies distributes it ... As I recently read, fat in your body is like gas in a gas tank. Thinking you can reduce fat from your stomach alone is like saying you only want to use gas from the right side of your gas tank Everyone’s body is genetically made up of a different concentration of fat cells around our bodies, for some us, especially women, it’s around our hips & thighs. 17.01.2022 Meet The Girl Behind The Brand Welcome to Bodies By Kim! ... I will admit, it has taken a couple of years to get to this point in my life I became a qualified personal trainer back in 2018 & thought I had everything I needed to get into the industry and really smash it, but my god was I wrong I had no idea about what I needed to really do to put in the effort to get to where I wanted to be in life. I made so many mistakes over the past 2 years but these mistakes have not all been bad, they have been learning tools for me and my future self to improve each and every day I feel so much stronger as a person for taking my time in building a business, instead of trying to win all at once, failing miserably and then completely giving up on my dream For as long as I can remember, I used to watch health and fitness shows on TV like the Biggest Loser (granted not the best show to promote healthy weight loss) and I would watch the transformations that contestants would achieve & I would always have a huge smile on my face while thinking I want to be the person that helps people with those transformations Your health is so much more than just losing weight, its about changing your mind to how you feel about yourself and to truly be happy with your life, to find what truly makes you happy & to go kick ass at it This is what I want to help people achieve because I’ve had my weight lose, I’ve changed how I feel about myself and my life in my mind & I’m truly happy with the path I have taken in my life Trust me when I say, this is 100% achievable once you know exactly what you want and you go after it 2020 is just the beginning & I can’t wait for the ride that’s going to come, there is no backing down now or giving up! 14.01.2022 When I first started going to the gym, all I wanted to do was lose weight, so I didn’t feel fat anymore but even after losing 30kgs, I still didn’t feel 100% happy with myself. It took me a few more years after to realise that even though I had lost the body fat, I hadn’t bothered to work on my mindset. I hadn’t worked on truly loving myself, I spent time masking it with getting into a relationship for the simple fact that I was lonely. ... Once I finally started to focus completely on myself, I felt like I was fully living my life. I worked on ways to love myself while still being on my own and finally put myself into a job that I can say I love more than anything. I am finally getting my life together; can you say the same? I know it’s been a while since I have been on here, there have been some reasons why & I’m finally ready to share them with you For the past couple of years since I got my Cert IV in fitness, something has just never felt right... I’ve always felt like I was missing something when it came to building my business, always felt like a failure and couldn’t help others After talking to one of their advisors Tom from The Australian Institute of Fitness, I knew exactly what I was missing, my nutrition qualification Once he read out the modules involved within the course, a spark lit up inside me and I just knew this was the course I was meant to be studying So from the 2nd of June, I will be back to being a student, upskilling my knowledge to build the business I have wanted from the very beginning I will start posting regularly again to keep in touch with you all & fingers crossed after I get my qualification I can start taking on clients again but for now...
