24.01.2022 Introducing Dave who won our last 8 week kick start. I dont normally post a lot of photos of before and afters as The photos I take are for the clients only. So they can see their progress visually. However I wanted to show u what can be done just with diet only. Dave didnt do a lot of exercise throughout the 8 weeks. Maybe 6 sessions ? But he did change his food up massively. Which resulted in a great loss but most importantly look how much healthier he looks especially in... the face. The pay off to charging habits with foods result in weight loss or body fat loss but its everything else that is more important (in my opinion) that happens first. No more body aches. No more cloudy/foggy head. Going to the toilet more regularly. Sleeping better. Just to name a few. So much happens when u eat nutritious foods that nourish your body. Its never about how much you can loose but how much can your body improve overall by just simply changing your habits. Changing habits do not have to be hard. All comes down to how bad do u want to.. Well done Dave... x

11.01.2022 THE BOREDOM SNACKING | Thanks to our gool ol friend, the Caronavirus, we are all faced with a hell of a lot of time confined to our homes... with some of us n...ot really knowing what to do with it all! Cue... boredom snacking . So, why do we snack when we are bored? When you are bored, youre simply not being stimulated. You then add food to the equation = instant gratification! It is common to reach for junkfood at these times as these types of food contribute to an increase in dopamine, resulting in the body to release endorphins aka "feel good" hormones . So, how can we attempt to combat boredom eating? Identify your cues ~ take note of the particular times/situations when you are likely to eat due to boredom. You are then more aware & in future can make healthier choices... you may even like to substitute it with a walk outside or 50 push ups in the lounge room!
