24.01.2022 Whether you have anger, hatred, jealousy, or resentment against someone, essentially, it only works against you. #SadhguruQuotes

24.01.2022 One of my favorite topics, nose breathing! Nose breathing for improved immune health, increased cardio fitness, better concentration, quality sleep, proper face & jaw development. https://youtu.be/wl4J2LMXcx8

24.01.2022 What Dr Jack Kruz recommends for us in Australia is 5,000IU Vit D3 daily over short term, which would be for 2-3mth. Ideally get your Vit D levels blood test first to see where you are at. Best to be at least 85.

24.01.2022 This is an fantastic talk with Rosalba Courtney and James Nestor (the guy I mentioned in an earlier post who wrote a book on breathing). They discuss dysfunctional breathing and the effects on face development, panic attacks, sleep issues, auto-immune disorders. It is also nice segue from my August newsletter (posted below) on the nose's immune defence system. https://vimeo.com/446599684

21.01.2022 This is exciting research showing how your lymphatic immune cells work with your nervous system to repair bones. Last year I completed a Chikly Institute bone course where we were taught how to work with the structure of the bone to improve its association with adjoining bones and the inner bone network. Nice to see this type of research aligning with the new bodywork techniques. https://medicalxpress.com//2020-06-nervous-immune-bone.htm

20.01.2022 So important to get a daily does of sunshine onto your bare skin.

20.01.2022 Nice to see a well written article on lymphatic system health!

19.01.2022 Get in touch with me if you'd like to learn these breathing exercises for anxiety.

15.01.2022 His book on functional breathing importance I heard is a really good read. https://www.theguardian.com//every-breath-you-take-the-los

14.01.2022 I love new discoveries! This time, 2 more salivary glands at the very back of you nasal cavity. They are calling them tubarial glands. This is useful thing to know for radiation purposes, to help prevent dry mouth and swallowing difficulties after treatment. https://www.the-scientist.com//scientists-discover-new-hum

12.01.2022 Did you know that the Lymphahtic System is similar to a fingerprint!?

11.01.2022 The mind is not in one particular place. Every cell in the body has its own intelligence. #SadhguruQuotes

11.01.2022 You may have heard of some peoples concerns with increase of carbon dioxide in your body when wearing a face mask. Jessica explains it nicely with the help of a capnograph to demonstrate what happens to our carbon dioxide levels when we are comfortably breathing when wearing a mask... nothing! Masks can be uncomfortable and make you feel anxious, especially if you are used to mouth breathing. If we breath hard against the mask (fast breathing/hyperventilation) then we will actually see a drop in our carbon dioxide levels and this will lead to a drop in available oxygen to our tissues. A drop in available oxygen can make you feel light headed and out of breath. If you are interested in seeing where your carbon dioxide and oxygen levels are at, I do have a capnograph that I can hook you up to to have a look!

10.01.2022 Gratitude for this year for bringing Zach Bush into my awareness. This podcast is beyond words. https://www.richroll.com/podcast/zach-bush-456/

08.01.2022 I've been seeing concerns with mask wearing causing carbon dioxide poisoning or hypoxia (low oxygen levels). Please understand your respiratory system is highly adaptive. It will notice the slightest shift in oxygen & carbon dioxide levels and adjust your breathing pattern accordingly. Also, both carbon dioxide and oxygen are able to pass through mask material. https://www.physoc.org//are-face-masks-reducing-the-oxyg/

07.01.2022 Here's another chat with James Nestor, author of Breath The new science of a lost art. This time with Patrick Mckeown. https://youtu.be/wl4J2LMXcx8

05.01.2022 I absolutely love the TRE (Trauma Release Exercise) process. Richmond and his team have been putting themselves out there this year to help assist the community with the almighty amount of stress put upon us, from the bushfires, to now the weighing effects of COVID-19. I did one of their workshops last year and it was amazing! The amount of physical and emotional tension of stress I was able to release through this mind blowing process was truly a blessing. Click through to t...heir website to learn more about TRE and to enroll in their free 3 seminars course. https://www.trecourse.com/ See more

03.01.2022 You may have noticed my new clinic neighbour, OsteoStrong. Not only does their bone strengthening program start the reversal of osteoporosis but will also stimulate your B and T immune cells production; as you know I'm all for a stronger healthier immune system! This clinic also has infrared towers, PEMF mats, hydrotherapy mats, binuary sound beats, and lymphatic pumping boots. When you are next in with a session with me, pop downstairs and check out their setup.
