06.01.2022 What is Fat Freezing? I’ve been getting a lot of enquires as to how the fat freezing works so I thought why not provide you with some treatment education! How it works: Fat Freezing works by using a device that sucks the skin into the hand piece and chills it up to -10 degrees which causes the fat cells to die off. Your body only has a certain amount of fat cells and once they have died off your body does not reproduce these. When you lose or put on weight these cells ex...pand or shrink so once the cells are gone, they can no longer fill up! Does it hurt? No, it can feel slightly tight and uncomfortable for the first 5-10 minutes then the area will go numb. How long does it take? 40-60 minutes What’s the downtime? Zero! You can carry on with your day straight after your session! The only thing you need to do is ensure you consume adequate water and continue with your exercise regime to help your body release the dead fat cells through the lymphatic system. When will you see results? Clients have noticed results from 1 week onwards, but the full results can take 8-12 weeks from the day of the session. How many sessions are required? Depending on your goals, 1-3 sessions are required but cannot exceed 3 sessions on the same area. Multiple sessions can be done 6-8 weeks for the same area or 3 weeks between seperate areas.
