25.01.2022 Are your goals realistic and achievable? Sure, they need to push you, but there is nothing more demotivating than not feeling a goal is attainable. It is important to set goals that are realistic. Once you have set your goals break them down into bite-sized milestones. You will find mini-goals much easier to aim for, and as you tick each one off you are one step closer to the big goal.... If your goal is unrealistic it can become overwhelming which in turn can set you up to fail. Lots of small wins along the way will ultimately get you to where you want to be. Small wins will motivate and encourage you. They will also enhance your mood and improve your mindset, and most importantly they will keep you moving forward. Fun maybe lol , but we always work hard to achieve our goals.. It takes courage and heart to do lifts like like. If you believe in your clients their potential will escalate to new heights! 23.01.2022 Is it time to switch your focus? The fastest way to change something in your life is to change what you are focusing on. This is because what you focus on plays out a story in your mind, and that can be positive or negative. It does not make sense to focus on a negative story and allow it to play out in your mind. ... Whatever you think about, you will more than likely experience. Focus on where you want to go, as that is where your energy will flow! This sounds amazingly simple and that’s because it is. It’s just another skill you can learn like training your body in the gym. Repetition is the key, and your brain is just another muscle that requires training to enable a new skill to be learned over time. So what will you be focussing on in 2021? 22.01.2022 The leg press is one the best movement’s for all round leg development ! Though to maximize results ensure , 1. You never sacrifice depth for Load... 2.Slow the movement down to ensure every rep is felt and executed effectively 3.Protect your knees when the load gets heavy 4. Embrace and hold your breathe on each rep to tighten your core and protect your back 5. Enjoy every rep or don’t do it! Here I pulled back the load by 80Kg to ensure the set meets my goals and you can tell by the redness of my head every rep hurt!

22.01.2022 In the past,Iv made a habit of staying super lean in an offseason.Reason being,fitness is a way of life for me and my priority. I can play soccer,surf and simply be mobile But every now and then,I’ll push the calories up higher then usual which does add extra body fat,but the best results,are a result from the set up prior to starting the goal.... No different to pre season for sports athletes like rugby league players.It will 1. Improve on weak points 2. Ensure metabolism is firing 3.Ensure performance is in direct proportion to my goal We call this training for specificity!! At 43, if I do not dot the i’s and cross my T’s ,progression will be minimal,if any at that My goals are usually set at 10-12 months away,so I can detail every move and ensure when the end result comes,I can be true and honest and know I did the best preparation possible,with no stone unturned.Im 35 weeks out from shows,not very long in terms of natural bodybuilding. I’m Training 5 days a week and consuming 3450 calories,which rides my metabolism to its absolute maximum at my age. I am working with @brandonkempter at present to keep the accountability and who is someone I trust to partner me for the journey.When life gets busy,it’s more important to have the accountability,no matter how advanced you are in any aspect of your life!Im very fortunate to have the best training partners most of the week also ,Dave,Nick and Scotty... Never be to proud !!You must have goals,set goals and progress in life to be fulfilled. Progression = Happiness
