17.01.2022 I invite you to think about this for a moment: It's an uncertain time at the moment and with no control over the current situation people are stressing out. From a health perspective, stress raises cortisol levels in the kidneys, which in turn is then distributes around the body along with adrenaline creating the fight of flight response. Cortisol levels also lower your immune system and its ability to fight illnesses. So in truth, you are actively making yourself sick.... Take a step back, take a deep breath (or several) and calm your farm. This situation is a bit of a blessing in disguise for some of us. Self-isolationism will provide us to catch up on those books we have been meaning to read, start a course in self-discovery, reassess things. This chaos will pass. I promise.

Another positive thing is you're pretty much ensured a sear on #publictransport I shouldn't have to justify it, but I get hip and knee pain from time to time and skully helps. He's always ready to say lean on me.

10.01.2022 There are certain things that I've been battling and while I've recently been posting food pictures (because we all know how much I love my food), I've gone severely backwards in my training and my nutrition stakes. Although I'm patiently waiting for the gyms to reopen, it has given me an opportunity to reconnect with myself and the war that I battle within. I've never liked how I look. I've never liked my face and my wonky teeth. I've never liked that I've never been an athl...etic person of come from an athletic family. Whenever something positive occurred within my life, I would usually get shot down and allow it to negatively affect me in such a way that it would always stop me in my tracks. But no more. I don't like how my face looks? Fine. But it's my face that I'm stuck with and I cannot change it no matter how hard I try. My point is that no matter what you do there is always going to be someone out there who will try to cut you down and elect not to support you. Find your tribe. The ones who will support you when life gets tough and not pay lip service then cut and run when shit hits the fan. So let's create a movement. Let's get something going where we all post something encouraging to someone else, be it here or on their own page. There is one thing that I will promise you though. You'll see me back at it bigger, leaner and stronger than ever before.

06.01.2022 It's been a fair while since I posted here. My journey has taken a rather backward step over the past 4 months with allowing myself to come to a dead stop in terms of my health. I have been lying to myself of late, so I think that it's time to get real. I've been feeling rather unsupported on this journey and those who have chosen to make comment have been in the negative. I allowed these people to get inside my head and influence the type of person that I am. My emotional at...tachment, otherwise known as my why was superficial and I really didn't dig deep into the real reason why I wanted to lose my gut. My "WHY" is I'm tired of being bullied and picked on about it and then when I start I have not seen myself as worthwhile and so I've felt like a loser. So here's the deal. I'm inviting you all who follow me to keep encouraging me. Keep me accountable for the entire process from start to finish and if you are going to be negative about it, you can just fuck off because I don't need that shit in my life. My start date is set Monday 10th of February for 12 weeks. Again, you can get behind me or get the fuck out of my way.
