21.01.2022 This is applicable to everyone, but especially going out to those of you who have signed up to my challenge starting Jan 4th 2021. Those of you who have followed me for a while know that above nutrition, weight training and cardio comes something far more important to "get right" and that's your mindset. No point having the greatest program or the "best" eating plan when you cannot stick to it for any period of time. So my hot tip for challengers is to begin focusing on the h...abits and actions that lead to the desired outcome rather than the outcome itself. So start thinking about the BEHAVIOURS that need changing for you to be successful at your fitness goals. Goals are best framed around behaviors, not the outcome itself. You can see this phenomenon when you look at New Year’s resolutions all the focus is on the outcome, and little attention to the strategy that gets you there. Don't be that person! Bottom line is, be clear about your goal, and then identify the behaviors that will be necessary to get you there, and finally, how to get yourself to consistently perform those behaviors.

16.01.2022 Congratulations to Neisha Macrae for her mighty fine efforts tonight. 8 weeks ago we tested her 1 rep maxes. She tapped out her squats at 90kg, 57.5kg on bench press and 90kg on the deadlifts. Tonight she mustered up a 107.5kg squat, a 67.5kg bench press and a superb 110kg deadlift in a powerlifting competition again herself. How fabulous is that?? 14.01.2022 Boss lady doing ma thing..... deadlifts today. First time wearing my Bombshell onesie . To be truthful it’s actually incredibly comfortable- you can tell the material is really good quality! Deadlifts this afternoon were 4 @ 177.5kg before my work sets at 155kg for 5 reps times three sets.

14.01.2022 Congratulations to Robyn Elaine for her deadlift this week. Sussing out her 1 rep Max she pulls a tough 150kg. Now time to work some more on breathing and bracing at lower weights. Nice effort though!!!!

10.01.2022 I just want to wish Neisha Macrae all the best at BC headquarters tomorrow evening. Neish has been working incredibly hard to improve her strength despite all the issues surrounding COV-19 and before she has some personal surgery on Thursday. Tomorrow even she shall test herself under competition conditions in front of family and hopefully she is going to smash some personal bests.

08.01.2022 Gotta give a massive shout out to this girl. Michelle’s into her 9th week of the in-house fat loss course and has today lost over 100mls so far in body fat. Anyone’s whose done skinfolds knows this is an enormous result. Her before and after photos in 3 months are going to look really solid. Really proud of Michelle’s efforts.

07.01.2022 Here's a little interview I did a while back reflecting on my experiences with both competitive bodybuilding and powerlifting and how different they are and I've spent a fair bit of time in both worlds, as you guys know. Just watching this back, it makes me really miss mixing with some really wonderful and strong ladies, surrounded by people lifting heavy things and smashing new PBs in competition. It's so much fun! Hopefully we'll all be able to get back to competition soon, and for anyone who's thought about giving powerlifting a go, hopefully this gives you a nudge as well. It's such a great experience with such great people. Enjoy folks.
