25.01.2022 Hi everyone! Thanks for your patience I am pleased to say that Remedial massage is considered an essential business through Stage 3! Unfortunately Mobile massage is not permitted during this time however I am still taking clients in my home clinic room. I have disabled online bookings for now and all bookings are to be made through PM, phone or email to allow me adequate time for ventilation and sanitation of the treatment room between clients. I also have remote learni...ng with my daughter so appointments will be limited. Masks must be worn to and from and where able during appointments and clients will be screened for COVID-19. Due to the fact I am treating from my home clinic now, I have less overheads which has allowed me to drop treatment prices for the foreseeable future to assist clients financially. 22.01.2022 Thought its about time I reintroduced myself! Im Chantelle, Mum of one and Im the owner/operator of Body Emphasis Pilates and Remedial Massage. I moved to Australia from New Zealand in 2007 and have now built my life here. My background is Gymnastics to which I competed until I was 16 (Ill have to dig up some old photos!) and now am a qualified gymnastics coach. Im a keen fitness person and have recently been competing in adults ninja (as has my daughter in kids comps!)... and I also coach kids ninja at Geelong Boxing & Obstacle Training My business is primarily Remedial Massage but have since qualified in and added Dry Needling, Myofascial Cupping and Pilates to my practice. On occasion, I do Corporate massage for Geelong Corporate Wellness and just before covid hit, I joined the Geelong Cats massage team. 21.01.2022 Relieve constipation and gas and aid digestion In your children by giving them a gentle tummy massage. Always massage in a clockwise position as the intestine goes up on the childs right side, then across the top of the stomach just above the belly button, and then down on the childs left side. 8-10 circles for some nice relaxation. My daughter here is fine but loves a tummy massage in itself. As a baby though she did suffer some digestive issues and had trouble pooping wi...thout pain, in which case this would be perfect. 17.01.2022 I often get my daughter to walk on me like this and at the moment, a couple of time a day. This past few days Ive had a bit on tension through the right side of my body, especially my back. Her walking on it has helped immensely to loosen the fascia and tension Im holding, I feel results immediately! As Laura is now getting older and therefore heavier, the family now require a wheelchair assessable car to transport Laura and her brothers.
