21.01.2022 I cant express enough how much love I have for BFT. I have never met anyone like Chris and Sarina who put so much love and energy into their work. They have ensured we all stayed motivated throughout the pandemic by continuing on with live zoom workouts. Chris makes it so much fun and silly for everyone while also providing an amazing knowledge base for any questions, injuries, or modifications. I have never felt so welcomed/remembered/looked after in a fitness environment - not to mention all of the jokes. BANANA AND PB MUFFINS Ingredients 3 Medium Bananas, mashed 2 tbs Raw Brown Sugar 4 tbs Almond Milk 1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 tsp Cinnamon 1 cup + 2 tbsp GF Plain Flour 2 scoops Macro Mike PB Cheesecake Protein 1 heaped tbsp of Mayvers Smooth PB 1.5 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Baking Soda Instructions 1. Preheat oven 220C, grease 9 muffin tins (can use coconut oil or any type of oil to avoid sticking) 2. Whisk until combined: banana, milk, cinnamon, vanilla and sugar in a large mixing bowl 3. Add flour, protein, baking powder & soda, mix to combine 4. Once well-combined stir through PB (batter should be thick and slightly sticky, add an additional tbsp of milk if required) 5. Divide into 9 muffin tins. Bake for 5 min at 220C, then reduce the temperature to 175C and bake for a further 10-15min or until a toothpick comes out clean. 6. Remove from oven and let cool for 5min, remove from tray and ENJOY. Cal: 147 P: 7.5G C:22.9G F:4G

Save, screenshot and tag us in your creations so we can see how you go. ... Ingredients 2 Cans Chickpeas, drained and rinsed 3 Lemonds, juiced 1.5 Tbsp Almond Butter Approx. 1/4-1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 Tbsp Siracha Hot Sauce 1-2 Tsp Cumin 1-2 Tsp Smoked Paprika Method 1. Combine everything into a food processor tasting regularly and adding spices until desired taste achieved. 2. Serve with a drizzle of extra virgin oil, dried chilli flakes and semi-dried or fresh parsley. NOTE: The proportions listed under 'approx.' are exactly that... approximated. Start with LESS, frequently taste test and add until desired taste and consistency is achieved. ENJOY

Here's what Amelia has to say about her time with us: "Training for me is mostly about my mental health. Getting up and training early in the morning gives routine and structure to my day and week. Training gives me a sense of accomplishment and allows me to do something for myself before the day properly begins.... I’m motivated by the other members who train at the same time as me. As tired as we are at 5.15am, the same faces turn up day after day to get it done. It feels like we’re all in it together." Congrats on this amazing milestone! Who will be next to reach 150?!

06.01.2022 Mmmmmm who else loves pancakes? These ones have an added protein hit...the perfect post Body Fit breaky. Thanks coach @sonjakota for this winner! Save this recipe and tag us if you recreate it.... Ingredients - 2 whole eggs - 1 Banana - Approx 25g vanilla protein powder - 1/4 cup of oats - Dash of almond milk - 1/4 tsp cinnamon - 1 tsp vanilla extract Method - Blend together all ingredients in a Nutri-bullet or something similar - Spray pan lightly with your choice of oil over medium heat - Pour mixture into a pan in desired pancake size proportions - Put a lid over the pan and wait until almost cooked through (air bubbles should begin to form on top) - Flip and cook for another 30 sec- 1 min - Repeat with remaining batter - Top with your choice of toppings (our favourite is frozen berries and peanut butter) If you want more healthy recipes like this, DM us to join our Whatsapp foodie group.

01.01.2022 We want our studio open just as much as you do, and we need your help! We need your support to prioritise the mental wellbeing of Victorians on the road out of lockdown. It needs to be recognised the incredible job Victorians have done to demonstrate to one another the willingness to adapt and persevere over the past 6 months. We believe that for a lot of you, your physical activity is the way you manage stress, anxiety and mental health and that it needs to be prioritised... on the way out of stage 4 restrictions. Along with a group of other Victorian health and fitness business owners, we are urging the Victorian State Government to prioritise your mental wellbeing and allowing our industry to be a part of the solution by letting you return to your physical activity at your studio or gym sooner.
