22.01.2022 STAGE 4 COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS... The Massage and Myotherapy association have today confirmed a series of changes to the way Remedial Massage operates in light of the recent Covid-19 (C-19) level 4 response. Commencing Thursday 6 August Remedial Therapists;... Can only treat patients who have a referral from their GP. Telehealth consultations can provide an option to obtain a referral if you do not currently have one. Must wear a mask Must only treat clients wearing a masks Must have a COVID-Safe Plan Must ensure clients are feeling well and have not been in contact with any persons who have tested positive to COVID-19 or have not been overseas This is a challenging time for us all, however by working together we can continue to provide a high level of care during these times.

19.01.2022 I’m so excited to say that as of this week allied health is back in business. This means that I can once again provide the the care and pain management that I know you have all been missing. Thank you in advance for being patient with me as I try to fit everyone in as soon as I can. I would like to reiterate that mask wearing and not coming to an appointment when you are showing any cold symptoms or feeling unwel at all, remains in place. Thanks again everyone for your p...atience and please be sure to message me early to get an appointment at my soonest available time. 17.01.2022 I can’t tell you all how sorry I am that remedial is not classified as allied health...it’s classified as other. It breaks my heart to say that if you had an appointment this week it might not be going ahead at this stage and I will try get in touch with you all individually to reschedule. It may be a bit of a wait and I truly am sorry for this. Hopefully I can get back to giving you all the care you deserve very soon. Thank you for your patience

16.01.2022 It’s looking very hopeful that allied health such as remedial massage will be getting back to business shortly. I am waiting for updates from my association and obviously masks will still be a requirement, as well as making sure to stay home if you are feeling unwell. That being said, if you have a tentative appointment before I know when I can practice again, I will be in touch with you before your appointment to confirm or reschedule depending on circumstances.
