All other personal care services (aside from hairdressing) where there is close contact for a prolonged period, are not permitted to operate, including: Beauty therapy, spray tanning, waxing and nail salons Tattoo and piercing parlours Spas and massage parlours Allied health services, such as physiotherapy and podiatry are not required to close. In terms of a recovery roadmap, we know that in stage two, gatherings of 20 are set to be allowed at homes, as well as beauty salons, in addition to gyms, cinemas, galleries and camping grounds reopening, but no firm dates or time frames have been announced on this yet.

16.01.2022 Sun Screen - Have you had trouble finding a sunscreen that didn't irritate your skin or eyes? I have!!!!!... I have lost count of the various Sunscreens I have tried over the years that have failed me....until I tried the Vagehggi Anti Pollution drops. I feel very blessed that you all trust me to take care of you whilst giving you some much needed pampering. I am looking forward to bringing the facial aspect of my business back so I can provide results driven facials as well as my beautiful spa facials for you. Unfortunately I am unable to perform any facials at the moment due to the Covid restrictions as outlined below in part of a letter from a local government representative to a Beauty Therapist representative. As discussed below, following further consideration and public health advice, beauty and personal services where a mask can be worn, may be provided in the Third Step, alongside hairdressing. This means that services such as facials, face tattoos, face piercings, could not occur as a mask would not be able to be worn properly. This decision has been made to ensure that the beauty and personal services industry can begin to open up sooner rather than later. I understand that being unable to do these treatments until the Final Stage is frustrating however, these decisions have been made using the most correct and up to date information as provided by the Chief Health Officer and their expansive team of medical and disease control. But we’re nearly there, and I know that together we’ll see this through. We’ll be able to safely return to doing the things we love and seeing one another again.
