23.01.2022 With the change in our working environment with the rise of this new virus, we as practitioners, need to also change how we deliver our service to ensure our patients safe. In response to the outbreak, we have increased our mobile/home and TELEHEALTH service to meet the demands for the elderly, NDIS, work cover, CTP and medicare patients. This will ensure there is adequate social distancing, reducing the risk in the community and preventing the spread of disease. We also use gloves, paper towel sheeting, disinfectants and masks to protect our patients. In fact, I encourage all my clients to take regular stretch breaks throughout the day to keep loose. This is very common for those individuals who have desk jobs, work in hospitality or in health industry and have sustained postures throughout the day. Stretch breaks are useful in removing unwanted tightness throughout the day. Just remember, like doing exercises, you need to engage in stretching regularly in order to reap lasting benefits.
