22.01.2022 Due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus, we are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure our patients, staff and extended community are all kept healthy and safe. -We are asking patients if they are experiencing symptoms OR have recently returned from an overseas "hotspot" OR if they have had close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 to reschedule their appointments at the clinic. -We are regularly cleaning all surfaces, door handles etc in the waiting room ...and treatment rooms with bactericidal wipes and sprays. -Staff are continuing to practice the normal high degree of hand washing etc in between patients. What can you do to help us keep our patients and staff safe? -Reschedule your appointments if you are experiencing any symptoms or have recently returned from overseas. -If you have a child who is sick and not attending school, please do not bring them with you to your appointment. -Continue to practice personal hygiene steps at home/ work as Health department guidelines (link below). Together with Nielsen Farming Co., Dynamic Slide on Campers, Body in Motion Fitness and Dr Chris Woollard, we have donated $1200 to Brew & View Cafe as our way of paying it forward to the Hervey Bay community. If you are a small business owner or have found yourself out of work due to COVID19, then come up and see Cam at Brew and View café from Tuesday 7th April and receive... ANYTHING FROM THE DRINKS MENU on us! We have watched the past couple of weeks the huge hits small business have taken and the huge effect it has had on so many people. Seeing the heartache of having to let employees (who are probably also friends) go because there is no longer enough money to pay them, let alone pay lease, loans, insurance, amenities and all the other costs that go along with running a business. The stress of trying to keep a business afloat under horrid circumstances when through no fault of their own, their ability to do that is now severely restricted. As affected small business owners ourselves, we completely feel for everyone else in a similar position and we are so grateful for the clients who have rallied behind our businesses and continued to support us through this unknown time. Now more than ever, we need to band together to support our local businesses.
