24.01.2022 You know it's going to be a good night when it starts in the men's room of a historic building with your favorite band, while they play an acoustic cover of 'Cool Kids' as the urinal flushes... need some background? A couple of weekends ago Bodylicious Photography had the honor of helping out at The Kin's merch stand in return for The Kinship experience. For those of you that don't know, The Kinship Experience is back stage awesomeness, aura sharing, personal acoustic perform...ances by the boys and general hanging out wickedness with the three Aussies hotties (Shaker is now an honorary Aussie). Naturally Sally had to be dragged along, kicking and screaming and Bambi didn't get shy for the first time in her life... ok, so maybe they are both lies. Not only did we get to take in Bambi's favorite musos (Sall's first time seeing them), it was a great opportunity to practice capturing fast images in low lighting and candid moments between these guys, each other and their fans.

13.01.2022 Hi all! Post wise it's been a pretty quiet week here at Bodylicious with Sal and I both having to go to hospital at various times this week... nothing was wrong, we just wanted some time away from our responsibilities, lol. Behind the scenes though there has been a lot of photographing, foaming at the mouth over new cameras, setting up, experimenting, acquisitioning new items (including the start of a warbrobe), sourcing locations and even some networking. ... It's all coming along quite nicely despite the quite front on the page. We had a blast at a private event last night while meeting some cheerful characters and capturing some heartfelt moments. 10.01.2022 So I'm reading away about cameras and photography, I thought I might share with you what I'm learning. They want me to write down what I most love about photo's and what I love about photography. So my intent is to capture moments, to capture stunning images, I love it when I capture somebody's moment in time and share the image with them - watching their face as they feel the emotion, and see that it is now their keepsake to look back on. This week I photographed Pyepah's 2nd birthday which I'll attach with this post. I love photographing candid shots and capturing peoples emotion (little people or big people), it melts my heart <3. I think its really about capturing the moment for me with photography - thank you to Melissa Lloyd for letting me use these <3 -Sal-

09.01.2022 Well hell's bells, did we get Bodylicious today or did we get Bodylicious today? Such a wonderful afternoon spent with the beautiful Jess and Andrew whom are graduating tonight. You were both so lovely to work with, thanks so much for giving us the opportunity to cut our teeth on such an important event for you both. Spread your wings and fly, kids!

02.01.2022 Detoured on the way home and went to shoot the sun setting over our gorgeous piece of the coast. Took some test shots to check the light and have a play with the Canon. Unfortunately I got a little over excited and finished prematurely, emptying the battery before the sun even started to set =/ great excuse to recharge so I can grab the tripod and go out tonight and get some long exposures! - K
