02.01.2022 From fellow Naturopath Lara Briden: when recently looking at the prescribing guidelines for PCOS and came across this supposed reason to give the pill: "To improve women's *perception* of normal cycles and fertility." Perception, not reality. Because pill-bleeds are not real menstrual cycles and do nothing to promote long-term fertility. In fact, contraceptive drugs can make it harder to eventually ovulate.
