21.01.2022 Morning bootcampers back at it this morning.. Yes its getting darker and colder of a morning but if you want something then you just get up and get it done! No excuses!



20.01.2022 Client and best mate Steve first started training with me to help increase his Bench Press strength. When he started he had a 1RM of 110kg. Several weeks later here he is pressing 112.5kg for 6 reps!

20.01.2022 ** CHOOSING THE BEST DIET FOR YOURSELF ** These days there are so many different dieting or nutritional strategies available that it can be somewhat confusing on which method to choose. I normally recommend to my clients to track their food intake(ie how much protein, carbs, fats and fibre they are consuming) as this gives them the most control and flexibility with their diet and also allows us to make accurate adjustments accordingly. It also quickly educates the client on w...hat they are actually consuming and therefore leads to more long term, sustainable results. However, I also understand this is not something that everybody can or wants to do. This brings me to my second recommendation, which is simply to adapt "clean eating" principles in which you aim to make healthy whole food choices! Lets face it, everyone knows what they should and shouldnt be eating to achieve their desired results. In regards to fat loss this method will usually create a calorie deficit due to the high amount of less calorie dense but nutrient rich food sources such as salads and vegetables. There is, however, one determining factor regardless of which dietary approach you may chose. That factor is simply SELF CONTROL!! If youre tracking your food intake but cant stick to your calorie and macronutrient goals then it is not going to work! If youre eating "clean" but then binge on junk food it is not going to work! If you cant control your portion sizes and keep going back for second servings it is not going to work! At the end of the day, regardless of which approach to dieting you choose, you need to control what goes in your mouth! Yes, it can be hard but no one else can do it for you! 16.01.2022 For the last 12 weeks weve been training Tara in her general preparation phase for her upcoming sprint competitions. This phase is used to develop overall strength and conditioning as well as address any weaknesses that may be present. With correct programming Taras strength has skyrocketed which is shown here by happily deadlifting 100kg for reps!

06.01.2022 A pretty miserable morning today but that didnt stop us from getting our session done!

05.01.2022 Once again client Steve showing some huge strength increases since starting his training with us. Steves initial 1RM was 110kg. This week he was able to press 135kg which was then followed by a new personal record of 140kg!! Great work mate
