25.01.2022 Open Day at the new Cockatoo Creek Veterinary clinic. I Face Painted solidly for 4 hours :) it was a great success. Congratulations Candice and Sarah and the rest of the staff for putting on a great event. And for showing us that Face Painting isn't just for kids :)
23.01.2022 Circa 2003 ! Some of these are from 16 years ago. Each photo has a unique story and holds special memories for me. I will add some comments on each pic.... Back in the days where nightclub work was abundant and people threw huge parties and hired me to paint . . . . Perth peeps will remember the Zanzibar Freo? and Eurobar Northbridge? I had a regular gig at the Zanzi on my own little stage. Some of these designs are still cool today hey . . . . fellow painters can you pick the liquid paints?

02.01.2022 I am feeling nostalgic today so I am revisiting older photographs. This is my very proud winning entry into the 2016 Melbourne ABAA. Model: Carysse Sheen... Photos of Model: Chanh Huynh Photography Headpiece, Shoes & Body Painting by me For any of my students out there wondering about competitions, sometimes "less is more" . . . . I asked one of the judges why my piece won, they said "it was cohesive" . . . something for me to ponder for the future. I made the shoes for my first model who had size 6 feet, sadly she had to withdraw from the comp and Carysse jumped in at short notice so I didn't have time for another pair. I popped the shoes in front of the judges anyway :) Carysse was fabulous in bare feet ! much better than in heels. I hope you enjoy these . . . stay tuned for upcoming Beginner Workshops in Melbourne . . . . I am adding some of my preliminary sketches in the comments . . . . . .
