19.01.2022 So according to the MyBody&Soul website, it's OK to advertise eating 800 FOR 2 WHOLE WEEKS! Now I've heard of fasting, which can be very beneficial to some people when advised by their dietitian. However 2 weeks is not a fast, it is starvation. Not only are you depriving the body of essential nutrients used to survive, but most commonly the side effects of eating 800 calories or less are: fatigue... constipation nausea diarrhea and gallstones Not only this, but most adult humans will burn more than 800 calories a day just LIVING. This doesn't even include the calories your body would burn walking to the fridge to eat this ridiculous diet. And what is worse is that this news article describes sticking to an 800 calorie diet as a "skill" which is incredibly damaging to a young persons mental health and self worth. Suggesting people who decide not to starve themselves as not "having the skill" is infuriating, and dangerous to the public. So as an open letter to @bodyandsoul_au No - people do not need to schedule their breakfast later No - people do not need to choose a soup or salad each day No - people don't need to become walking encyclopedias of low calorie foods and NO - YOU DO NOT NEED TO KEEP BUSY AND AWAY FROM FOOD Stop using public fear to encourage eating disorders, and to sell products. Try selling something useful for once.

16.01.2022 @omgninjafish attempt at creating vegan bacon today! Turned out great (even though we didn't wait out the entire cooking time and it was still soft ) Loved the smell and taste, made from sliced eggplant covered in smokey bacon seasoning. Great breakfast idea !
