Here are some stretches you can do from your desk: ... Seated spinal rotation 1. While seated, cross your arms over your chest. Grab your shoulders. 2. Rotate your upper body from the waist, turning gently from left to right as far as you can. 3. You should feel tension on both sides of your lower back as it stretches out. Shoulder stretch 1. Hold one arm across your body. 2. Pull your elbow into your chest. 3. You should feel your shoulder gently stretching. Sitting back extensions 1. Sit straight with your feet together. 2. Hold for 30 seconds and repeat on the opposite side. 2. Chin to chest stretch - Sitting cross-legged on the floor, place your hands on top of your head, elbows pointing outward. - Gently pull your chin to your chest and hold for 30 seconds. 3. Cheek push stretch - From a sitting or standing position, place your right hand on your right cheek. - Turning to look over your left shoulder, gently push your right cheek as far as you can without forcing it. - Hold for 30 seconds and repeat on the opposite side.
