15.01.2022 WORKING OUT FOR YOUR KIDS Children learn by copying what they see their parents doing. The amount of times I have clients tell me their kid starts doing burpees or any form of exercise and they say ‘watch me I’m doing bootcamp’ is so unbelievably rewarding. ... Without even realising, we are teaching them that exercise is enjoyable. Yes, there are many complaints within our 45 min session (some more than others ) but there is ALWAYS laughter. As a parent you do everything for your child, working out may be your time to focus on yourself but they are still learning from you. Encourage healthy habits from an early age . 06.01.2022 Do you stretch enough? I do this little sequence every time I finish a workout. Not only to help with muscle recovery but as a form of meditation/relaxation. 5 tips on stretching ... Hold each stretch for 20-30 seconds Be consistent otherwise you’ll stay tight Static (still) stretch after a workout and dynamic (moving) before a workout Focus on breathing Don’t bounce, instead slowly get into a deep stretch as your muscles start to relax Stretching is often forgotten or avoided but it is extremely beneficial in recovery and improving your mobility for exercises See more
