Look out for workouts to keep you going on the boards in the group training room.... We will still be staffed but we will keep you up to date on any changes over this time period. Then we have something awesome in mind ... On Monday 31st August we are launching the GENERATION POUND exercise program for kids! The program is designed to teach kids important skills they can use for the rest of their life. Such as... 17.01.2022 Mixed Weights is not a class to fear but to embrace. And its growing . We teach technique and focus on what you can do. Learn to activate muscles, stabilise during your exercise movement patterns and learn to gauge how much to lift for your body.... Our trainers don't join in, we watch and guide you through the workout. Great for beginners with no background in using weights or people want to do a workout that they can challenge themselves more. We were and are all beginners.



17.01.2022 Functional movement is what our body does to get us from point a to point b. Some of us unfortunately are not moving as functionally as we should and this should be your training focus first and foremost. Your body needs to build a strong foundation in order to progress to more advance movements. I know you want to jump right into the crazy but if you can't squat properly you can't then move onto squat jumps, back squats or box jumps. If you can't hip hinge then you can't mo...ve onto Kettlebell swings or deadlifts. We train you to build that foundation to take you to that next stage. 10.01.2022 Let's get our children active! Our expansion on adding kids to our class schedule is a new phase for BodySmith. We have had Karate for some time but know we are leaping into Pound for kids, also known as Generation Pound!... Using drumsticks, updated music and games we take a fun approach of fitness, coordination, emotion through music, movement and fun Currently Generation Pound is on Monday's at 4pm for ages 6 to 12. If you have a little Rockstar that could use a fun introduction to fitness contact us. Schools also welcome to enquire as we have programs available to make PE fun and teachers we have got you and your older students covered to. Fun in fitness really exist!
