Please be advised that as of this moment, Body to balance massage will NO LONGER be taking on any new clients (until further notice) as trying to keep up with the demand has proven to be challenging with wait times being up to & over 6-8 weeks Whilst it hurts to send people away my focus and priority is with my regular clients who have been super loyal & I’m sure they’ll be thankful to not have to wait months in between sessions!... So, with that being said, you will notice that the BOOK NOW link is gone. 17.01.2022 Hi y’all! Just thought I’d take this opportunity to re-introduce myself Now i say re-introduce because I feel like many of you know I’ve been on quite a journey the past couple of years & I have changed so much! Just a quick recap & some fun facts ... Originally from Victoria, my husband, our three young girls and I moved to Sunny QLD in 2014 & instantly fell in love I enrolled in Cert IV Massage Therapy at the College of Healing Therapies in Peregian Beach, whilst working part time in Childcare at North Lakes Continued my studies and completed my Diploma in Remedial Massage through intensives & looking back, it was so intense but I embraced it and loved who I was evolving into, I had finally found my PASSION 2016 took the plunge and quit Childcare work for a remedial massage therapist position in Redcliffe. I lasted 2 weeks in this position, it was money driven and very clinical. Which is SOoO NOT me (as many of you know) With the support of my hubby Nate, I built up the courage to start my own Remedial Massage Business in an office space in North Lakes where I met most of you Through hard work, dedication & the support from my loyal clients I was able to build a business that I love & was able to find myself in the process! Late 2017, my hubby and I decided to build my studio space on our property in Burpengary & this allowed much more family time and freedom, whilst still working Late 2018 we were so so happy to announce that we would be having our 4th child , I had planned to go on maternity leave in May 2019. But unfortunately, in Feb 2019, we lost our only son Jax Nate at 26 weeks gestation A piece of me died that day & although it was the hardest day of my life, it was this experience that changed my life forever Fast forward to now, we welcomed our little healthy rainbow babe Remy May in April (right in the thick of corona), it was a different experience that’s for sure, but we were way too blessed to be stressed After 4.5mths, I’ve returned back to work, on a very limited basis with afternoon appts only. Why you ask? Well after much grief & heartache, I realised what is important to me, right now. And while my business is important, this time with my family and finding that balance is what matters For how long, I’m not sure of that yet, but it’s still early days & I’ll let you all know when anything changes Thanks so much for all your support, for staying with me and your patience!
