Choose a backpack with separate compartments for load distribution. 5. It should sit snuggly on back and hang no lower than small of back. 6. Look for a backpack with a professional endorsement. If your child experiences any discomfort or you observe that your child has back or shoulder pain, red marks on shoulders, pins and needles in arms/hands, any back pain or postural changes when wearing their backpack, it is recommended that you consider if their backpack is unsuitable for them.
