14.01.2022 What is Myotherapy? I get this question asked a lot so here is a little description of what we actually do. Myotherpay is a form of physical therapy used to treat and prevent soft tissue pain and restricted joint movement. ... A Myotherapist will assess you by asking you a number of questions on a history form about your symptoms, any prior illness, injury or surgery and then run through a postural assessment followed by some range of motion testing. Once the assessement is completed then a treatment plan will be issued which may include massage, dry needling, cupping, deep tissue massage, trigger point release techniques and exercise exercises prescription.
