11.01.2022 All round great bloke and good mate of Two Good Sports, Scott Sattler has made it his mission to locate the famous 1970 Rabbitohs' jersey his father John wore w...hilst enduring 77 minutes of a violent Grand Final against Manly with a broken jaw. The Sattler's decided to have it framed in 2000, however the memorabilia company responsible for this informed them their jersey somehow disappeared. A decade later, a jersey claiming to be the famous cardinal and myrtle number 13 appeared on eBay for $30 000. The New South Wales Police were promptly called to investigate this incident. Scott, who owns his own private investigation, Complete Corporate Services, also launched his own inquiry. As for the mysterious jersey on eBay? Scott shared the following premise. Dad wore two jumpers in 1970 so the theory is the one which turned up on eBay must have been the other one. We contacted Scott and offered to help in any way we can. Please let us know if you happen to come across any trace of this legendary piece of sporting history as we try to reunite it with its owners. It's a longshot, but you never know. Any sharing of this article would also be greatly appreciated.
