20.01.2022 Yass MerinoLink Sire Evaluation update Sally and Sam went out to Cavan Station at Yass to urine and dag score the 2019 drop progeny as part of the MerinoLink ...Sire Evaluation being held there. The boys at Cavan are doing a great job looking after the progeny - currently 13 months of age with 5 months wool and full of energy! These scores will be submitted to AMSEA and Sheep Genetics for analysis. Results will be available on the Merino Superior Sires website soon. We are thrilled with a 100% clearance of 169 rams, selling for an ave of $2808. Lot 11 was this years top price ram purchased for $5000 by long time clients Garabray Pty from Greenethorpe. 02.01.2022 It was great to have ‘Big Willow’ from @craig_wilson_and_associates here over the past two days to class up the 2020 Sale Rams. With a great line up this year it was easy to pick out 170 rippers for the sale. Arctic conditions here in Yass, thankfully we were able to do a bit of a re-jig and move the classing indoors to the woolshed.
