04.01.2022 Just posting here since our The Loop ad has expired... but we're getting closer to filling this role watch this space! MID-SENIOR BRAND IDENTITY DESIGNER SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES... Boheem is a multi-disciplinary design agency based in Surry Hills with a focus on creating or re-creating long-lasting, relevant brands for visionaries. We are daily solving problems, crafting concepts and making thoughtful and enticing visual communication for projects we believe in. We are looking for an experienced mid-weight or capable senior designer to join our happy and hardworking little team. This is a fairly autonomous role as our creative director/ owner is part-time so we're hoping to find that someone who's wanting a position that provides a great sense of achievement and purpose that comes with managing responsibility well. What this role offers: Daily design challenges and hands-on problem solving in a supportive team environment We're in a really nice space with lots of natural light on the top floor of a Surry Hills warehouse building right near Central Lots of opportunity to further strengthen your design and branding capabilities You'll be a trusted and valued member of our small agency A pretty healthy work/ life balance we really don't expect you to work too much after hours, only when necessary Involvement from time to time with Austockphoto, an Australian stock photo library we launched as a separate business late 2016 Our wonderful new Boheem team member will: Have the energy, drive and passion needed to completely live and breathe this role Are a strategic thinker who can provide innovative resolution to brands and projects Know the importance of fully understanding a client’s needs beyond what the client thinks they need Are skilled and competent in every design development stage Are a leader who’ll inspire our creative team Will care about this business and partner with Boheem's owner to make it better this will include: - Website/ portfolio updates (we're a tad behind on this currently!) - Social media initiatives (instagram posts) - Additional business communication / offerings / promotional ideas - Implementing ideas in some cases Are comfortable and confident meeting with clients to accept briefs and present ideas Are a problem-solver in every way and have a can-do attitude Can work relatively quickly for small budgets without compromising everyday excellence Understand the business of design, have a realistic approach to project time allocation and take ownership of deadlines Know Adobe Creative Suite inside out, obviously Are organised and articulate, are nice and friendly as well as a high standard for written communication This is not a Creative Director role, however we would be interested to hear about your comfort level in or experience with giving creative direction in a small team environment.
