18.01.2022 Hahaha in the many hundreds of chicks I have hatched over the years I’ve never seen one with half its shell stuck on its head like a little hat. So cute!

17.01.2022 EDIT- 5 black ones left $40 If you would like to find COLOURED olive, green and blue eggs every day get some of these gorgeous araucana and araucana x French Maran chicks. The eggs look and taste like normal eggs on the inside, they just look really cool on the outside.... Photos of the parents are shown too. Just hatched yesterday. Approx half will be roosters which you can return but no refunds sorry. Pick up at Tallebudgera, Gold Coast. Need a heat lamp at night until around 5-6 weeks of age. Need chick starter to eat.

12.01.2022 I like to use a clove of garlic in my chickens’ water to help keep pests like worms, mites and lice away but sometimes it just doesn’t cut it and I need to bring out the big guns. I’ve just purchased Kilverm for worms and Cydectin for lice and mites in big bottles but won’t use it all before it expires in June 2021. If you would like to buy some (I’ll pour it into a jar) for much cheaper than retail-... Kilverm 500ml for $20 Or 200mls for $10 (Dosage rate is 100mls in 2 litres of water, or 50mls in 1 litre of water if treating 10 or less chickens). Has no egg withholding period.. Take water away from them a few hours before bedtime then give them medicated water in the morning. Give them fresh water again that night. Cydectin cattle pour on, just add a few drops to the back of their neck and near their bum with a syringe or dropper. Withhold eggs for two weeks afterwards. Easiest to treat them at night just pop it on while they are roosting. 100mls for $25 (Will treat a lot of chickens several times). Located at Tallebudgera
