16.01.2022 Recently Bold Trailers enhanced my Jayco Jtrak Forward Fold Camper Trailer by upgrading the 12 volt switchboard and laid new wiring for my diesel heater. They a...lso solved a problem where my fridge was blowing fuses and replaced a faulty winch and wired up a 240v inlet and installed 2 power points. Last week we went camping and had the opportunity to test their work and everything worked perfectly. ESC allows the caravan to stabilize itself if you are caught in a wind tunnel. A wind tunnel can be created when trucks drive past you at a fast pace. You might have witnessed this before, when the caravan starts to sway side to side. The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) automatically applies the brakes on each side of th...e caravan depending on how much swing/sway there is and it brings the caravan back into alignment. This helps avoid the caravan tipping or rolling over from uncontrollable sway. 04.01.2022 Hi everyone, Christian Bold here from Bold Trailers. What I’d like to speak to you about today is the Swing Away system which can be fitted to a trailers drawbar. What a Swing Away system does is it allows you to have more room when you want to store your boat trailer. The problem a lot of people have for the storage of their boat trailer is that it is too long. Whether it’s for their garage, whether it’s in the street, it just gets too long. So what they do is they come to B...old Trailers and we fit them a swing away system. This is how it works. We cut the draw bar where it needs to swing back for the added room you need, then we weld on four plates. We weld on two top and bottom two on one side of the drawbar, two on the other side of the drawback. Simply remove the pin and swing the drawbar back on itself. So that’s how you could swing the drawback all the way back. It’s fantastic if you don’t have the room to store your boat. I encourage you to try it. When you need to move your trailer, easily swing it back and put the pin in when you need to tow away. Now this Swing Away system is engineered and complies with Australian Standard so you don’t have to worry about that. We always do things by the book here at Bold Trailers.
