15.01.2022 Today at crèche we all enjoyed Bollywood Masti, an incursion to further celebrate the Indian festival Diwali. Having the opportunity to wear Indian outfits, we then danced to music, learnt different moves and had so much fun.

Learning about all cultural diversity is an impor...tant part of our curriculum at Cardinia Lakes ELC. Children develop a greater understanding and respect for each other and the community. Learning about different cultural aspects offers new experiences for children. It also helps them realise that we're all humans, despite differences in how we look or dress, or what we eat or celebrate. 06.01.2022 This morning we had Karuna from Bollywood Masti Dance Incursion come and share the love of Bollywood dancing with us. The children and educators participated by... dressing up in traditional costumes. By sharing in cultural celebrations, children can experience traditions from their own culture, as well as others they are not familiar with. This all builds a strong sense of belonging within our community.
