08.01.2022 Cut and level area leaving room for topsoil. A standard resurfacing job. This particular job required 50mm above the spread topsoil to allow space for rolled turf.

08.01.2022 We like to remove concrete a fair bit. In this picture I am removing a 200mm thick concrete pond. No shortage of power in this rig.

03.01.2022 Had a very difficult pole stand today, just putting the books in. Usually it's possible to cut the pole off at the ground or remove it entirely but this one had almost been removed for us! The pole, supporting three single phase wires and the corresponding neutral (three very good reasons not to hit a pole), had been hit and snapped off at the base by some poor bloke in his truck. Hanging by one nut has never been more apt a description. After drilling through the asphalt and road base we stood a brand new treated hardwood pole next to the damaged pole. In this pic we are cutting a groove in the new pole to make room when we attach the crossarm. Of course once the wires were loosened and disconnected the pole would fall, so we hitched the poles together, tied the crane boom in preparation to lift and removed the pole later.
