18.01.2022 Glendale residents Max and Lorna Holmes have double the reasons to celebrate over the next few weeks as they mark their centenaries together. Meeting when they were just 16, the pair have enjoyed 77 years of marriage and many milestones. Max turned 100 today, with Lorna following close behind on 21 September. ... Max says he only remembers he’s 100 because everyone keeps reminding him. It just happened, he says. There’s a lot of fuss about turning 100! Lorna is likewise bewildered by the attention.
