14.01.2022 Attention all members of the Wollondilly / Southern Highlands SFF Branch. We will be holding our 2019/2020 AGM at the Tahmoor Inn on Thursday 26th September at 7pm. For this branch to continue to operate we require as many people as possible to attend and also with a willingness to fill a position on the committee. I plan to have one of our current members of parliament present on the night to listen to any of your concerns so please come along and support our branch. PS. pl...ease let me know via phone, SMS, FB or FB Messenger if you can make it to the AGM as if we don’t have the numbers the meeting will not be able to go ahead. Thanking you, Jason Bolwell
12.01.2022 The Shooters Fishers and Farmers Wollondilly/Southern Highlands Branch is holding their AGM this Thursday Night from 6:45pm at the Tahmoor Inn. We would love to see you there. We will be electing a new committee on the night as well as receiving an update from SFF NSW and discussing nominations for Local Government elections in 2020. Please reply or let me know if you will be attending.
09.01.2022 The State Government needs to look at purchasing essential assets not selling them. If we keep going down this path corporate companies like AGL will totally control what we pay for the services. Water, electricity etc should be majority owned by our state.
07.01.2022 To think that a Liberal Government would side with the likes of the Animal Justice Party for political gain is horrendous! Our local member is too busy slandering our Shooters, Fishers & Farmers member for Murray rather than trying to rectify his own parties miss-management especially in the company they choose to keep. The Animal Justice Party are determined to change the way we all live our lives, circuses are just the starting point. Everything that involves animal partic...ipation is under threat by this party. While I am a strong believer of a free country that enables you to live your life within our laws as you please, Animal Justice has other idea’s and unfortunately our local member's party seems to agree by siding with them. We have recently seen these supporters illegally trespass into the Picton Meatworx which employ’s up to 80 people from Wollondilly and it’s surrounds, then share their footage over social media with the full intention of having the business shutdown. Emma Hurst, Animal Justice Party Upper House member questioned the government on this very topic on the 17/9/19 so I find it very concerning that our local member hasn’t done something about this within his own party instead he is willing to sit back and watch as our way of life is jeopardised for his parties political gain. I would encourage all to write, call or visit our Wollondilly member asking him why his party is supporting these vigilantes.
04.01.2022 At the recent NSW State Election, I was very surprised to see that the AJP (Animal Justice Party) received 2.6% of the vote or 1326 votes for the local Wollondilly candidate. I have attached a link below of Emma Hurst's (AJP) inaugural speech in parliament. Is this what 1300 people in the Wollondilly really voted for? I would encourage you all to ask anyone you know that voted for this party to read this speech and then ask them, is that what they want for our state of NSW? ...Pigs playing soccer and computer games REALLY!! https://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au//Pag/HansardResult.aspx
