24.01.2022 NEW ENTRY REQUIREMENTS From January 1 all hospitality venues must use the Service NSW QR check in for Covid tracing. We will have this in place at reception. To make it faster for you we highly recommend you download the Service NSW App to your phone and register with a Service NSW account so that you wont have to re-enter your details whenever you need to scan in. Please note that this does not mean that you will not have to scan your licence when you enter the club or yo...ur members card. This is still a requirement of the Registered & Licensed Clubs Act 1976. Our Covid-safe trained staff will be on hand to assist you and make entry as smooth as possible. You can help us with this by having the app on your phone and scanning to check in prior to coming in to our foyer (we will have signs out front) and by having your drivers licence ready to go. 12.01.2022 Here's an update and some general information on the Clubs movements after the COVID rule changes: 1. The Clubs capacity has been increased from 96 to 116. 2. You are now permitted to stand and consume alcohol whilst OUTSIDE in the smoking terrace and bowling greens only. 3. Temp checks remain in place... 4. We have Social distancing measures in place between tables 5. Members must still swipe their members cards to access the venue - no card, no entry & by law, you are required to carry it with you whilst entering the Club. You cannot swipe your licence for capacity tracking if you are a member and more particularly if you reside within 5 kms of the Club. 6. Residents who live within 5 kms are not obligated to become members, and can be signed in as a guest of a member, however without a member to sign you in, we are unable to grant you access. 7. The Bistro is part of the Licensed premise, so therefore you must sign in or be signed in by a member to gain entry to the Bistro. These conditions of entry are part COVID legislation and part Registered and Licensed Clubs ACT 1976 conditions. As the venue Manager, I have a legal responsibility to uphold these laws regardless of the size of the Club or it's location. Bombala isn't immune from legislative measures and we are held to account just as much as any of the city venues. We are doing everything within our capabilities to provide our community with a safe venue to dine and drink. I appreciate that the measures in place might be laborious or just a pain in the back side, but we have compliance that must be adhered to. On a lighter note, Porterhouse Bistro Bombala are producing quality food, so if you haven't been in and tried them, then you don't know what you're missing.

10.01.2022 Welcome to 2021! For all our members who haven't renewed, If your card is still showing 2020, then currently you are not a financial member. Under the current conditions with COVID you will be required to renew before being given access to the Club and it's facilities, this includes the Bistro. If you haven't renewed by February 1st, then your membership completely expires and you will be required to re-apply. There is a staff member at reception from open to close Wednesday-Sunday & we will take payments over the phone Monday - Sunday if you can't get in to pay.
