22.01.2022 Here is some more photos and very dodgy video I captured 1 handed riding the section we worked on over the weekend that I forgot to put up. As with our last bit of work we really need moisture and compaction to truely settle these tracks. So in the short term please take it a little easy so we don't degrade the loose dry surfaces. Massive thanks Flexihire for the machinery use this weekend and of course to Wayne for his digging prowess, and for the rest of his household "volu...nteering" for compaction and planting duties. It's very appreciated! Now that we've had a bit of a test run of a few methods we'll be a little better prepared for a bigger working bee call out in the next month or so. Thanks Grant.
21.01.2022 Its not great for trail building but dry weather is excellent for chook racing - sample th section we worked on last weekend. Details: Thursday night $5 entry sign on at 5;30 6pm start Refreshments after. ... see you there. See more

17.01.2022 Notice: trail work on bridies run. Hey everyone Wayne and some helper have been busy working on bridies run and a bit of dipper. It's still a little loose so be cautious and courteous ( don't blow out the loose stuff!) We believe it's been resurrected in the original theme of the track - a jumpy Berny flow trail aimed at jetting youngsters having fun and progressing their skills. The jumps have progression from safe table tops to rollable/jumpable doubles, to Some big Gap j...umps for those with REAL jumping ability. As always we encourage riders to ride within their limit, and check a feature before hitting it for the first time. If you want to be involved in repairing tracks like this we aim to have a working bee in 2 or 3 weeks. We'd love your help!

04.01.2022 Apparently its women's health week this week, we reckon riding a bike is a fantastic way to improve your physical and mental health. So ladies, why not jump on a bike one day this week.
04.01.2022 Whist it's not technically mountain biking or at bom bom. We have created a partially off road course for wet weather racing in the past. So the club is looking at getting more usage and more funding to improve the facility... we'd really value as much feedback as possible Wink wink. Feel free to add a comment about building a cyclo-cross/MTB course and features as an extra opportunity.

02.01.2022 We received the following in an email about developing MTB trails up the range. If you'd like to provide them feedback please fill out the survey. ------------------------ We are assisting Tenterfield Shire Council by conducting a feasibility study to develop Tenterfield as a world-class mountain bike destination town. If the project proceeds, it will represent the largest MTB trails destination in Australia with 150kms of single track and trails, a pump track, gravity track... and the longest downhill track in Australia and will be known as the Angry Bull MTB Trails. Tenterfield is a regional community located in Northern NSW, New England High Country, which has been devastated by drought, bushfires and the Covid pandemic. The council are looking to diversity and revitalise their economy by creating an Adventure Tourism hub centred around the CBD and hinging off the new MTB trails. We are seeking your assistance by distributing a very short 2 minute survey to your club members to complete, which is available at www.surveymonkey.com/r/AngryBullTrails Also, could you please tell us how many members your club has. If you have any questions about the project or this survey, please contact me at [email protected]
01.01.2022 Road and mountain bike club members unit with beers and bowls... Please make sure you make contact to confirm your place.
01.01.2022 Sunday was a great day for our first post covid club race. Thanks to everyone who entered. The self timing is only as good as the self reporting so there are a few gaps in the results sheet. The finish times and lap counts are taken from Strava flybuys and self reporting- apologies if i have got it wrong. Visitors took out first position in 3 of the categories - would have been 4 if Brent hadn't been lead astray by Michelle. Great to see so many women out there. ... Congratulations to everyone who took part. Results posted below. We will do it all again soon. in the mean time- Just Ride. Strava Leader board also posted for the course so you can see everyone's fastest laps - Grant just on top
