21.01.2022 ......4 DAYS TO GO........ As the closing date for this months order approaches, here are some things to remember: Don’t pay anything!! After the close date, I need to confirm stock and freight with H2G before invoices can be finalised. Once done, you’ll receive an email stating payment is ready to be made. This occurs usually Monday/Tuesday after the close date. ... make sure to get any additional items found on our website ordered before the close date and at checkout select H2G Payment so it can be added to your H2G order after the closing date, if you receive emails about payments and deliver/pick up information, it means you had something in your cart at closing and have placed an order. It is NOT a generic email that goes out to all members. orders are usually ready for delivery or pickup 10-11 days after the close date. I will email members confirming those dates later next week, after the order has closed. you no longer have to provide containers, we pre portion all products and pop them into your box with your other items. make sure to have any jars or cotton bags that you received in your previous order emptied and ready for me to pick up when I drop off your next order or bring them when you come to pick up your order. This is very important to keep the cycle going Donations of Jars: I now only require 1L glass jars or plastic jugs at this point. 11.01.2022 NEW PRODUCT I’m very excited to offer another local product in our online shop to add to you monthly food orders. I love the concept of allowing small businesses to use my delivery system, to get there products out there! Carmen @citrico_surface_cleaner , on the second photo, began making Citrico because she wanted a family safe product to clean her home........don’t we all . Citrico is a homemade 17 day vinegar infusion process full of lemon, orange, lime and mandarine... peels with botanicals and essential oils. There are 3 varieties to choose from: lemon, lavender/orange and eucalyptus. It comes in a glass amber bottle with an adjustable trigger spray and is a multipurpose natural cleaner. 10.01.2022 LAST DAY - Did you get yours? It’s the last day to get your orders in.......and also Happy Fathers Day Being Canadian, I’ve always known how good REAL maple syrup is. I grew up with it in many forms. From all types of candies and lollies, cookies shaped as maple leafs, toffee like forms, whiskey, air fresheners, and around Canada Day you can find every food item imaginable flavoured with it ... 11 years ago I opened up my Australian husbands eyes to this liquid goodness and he’s never looked back. It’s a Sunday morning pancake rituals now after a big morning at the beach Once you’ve made the switch, you’ll wonder how on earth you ever ate anything but. When I moved to Australia and found out it costs around $40/litre at the shops, I nearly fell over! I would make every Canadian coming to visit me being litres of it to me from Canada. Now I don’t have to though seeing that we now can buy it with all the other members sharing a 19litre bulk split at just $17.35/litre Thank you all you lovely members for bringing a bit of my home, back to me

08.01.2022 Good food starts with good ingredients. And together we have come! I laugh when I think about how small this food group was mid last year. My orders would take a few hours to sort.....they now take 3 days straight. But man we’re getting some good deals now Did you know the biggest H2G food group is in Margaret River? $20,000-$30,000 orders . At this rate of growth it’s possible we could challenge that ... Joining a food group means together we have the buying power of a large retail store, allowing us to buy only what we want/need that month. No waste, no up front costs. Just good organic food at wholesale prices for the amount that you want. Win win.

08.01.2022 The famous S P L I T S The best option on the ordering portal is the splits tab. This area allows members to request a large bulk portion of, say a 25kg bag of flour, be split with other members. The product and the amount the member wants appears for all members to view. If another member would like to have a portion of this product, they simply click on that product and add the portion size they’d like. Sometimes an item is share by 2-3 members, sometimes there’s 10-15! Dep...ends on the product and size. Not only are you purchasing almost waste free, but because you’re buying in bulk, the unit price is as low as possible! All dry splits will be portioned into brown paper bags and liquids into donated recycled glass jars. I often get asked about unfilled splits. Leave that with me . Here is the basic approach. Every month, a few days before the close date, if there are any splits that I know will not be filled, I email those involved and discuss alternatives like everyone taking a bit more if the split is just shy of being filled, reducing the split from say a 25kg bag to a 12kg if that’s available and the split is far from being filled, taking a smaller individual portion size offered by H2G, or taking nothing at all. Most splits are filled though come closing. If you don’t hear from my by Saturday then that means your split will be fine and you’ll be getting what you ordered. Unless H2G end up being out of stock of it once we place the order. Log on to do your bulk food shopping before the order closes at midnight Oct 4th (Sunday!). I believe there are almost 80 bulk products being split this month!!!

06.01.2022 ......2 DAYS TO GO........ So exciting to watch! From my perspective, I find it so fun to watch the order in its last week before closing. Especially all the splits! I’m always discovering new products that other members have added. ... As you know, orders are available for delivery or pick up at our location in Bomaderry. Delivery is free for your first order and for orders over $75. If you’d like to have delivery for orders under $75, there is a $5 fee. We deliver to all areas between Tomerong and Kiama. The dates and times for these deliveries will be confirmed by Wednesday, but is expected to occur on Oct 13th between 8am to 5pm. You do not have to be home to receive your delivery. We are happy to drop it off at your door. Pick ups will occur on Oct 14th between 12pm to 7:30pm Order closes Oct 4th at midnight. Once closed, a new order will open for the month of Oct and close Nov 1st If you’d like to order, send us your email address and an account can be set up for you to have access.
