24.01.2022 I thought I'll share a simple way to disinfect your hands and most often used handling areas in your day to day life, car. There are shortage of hand sanitizer. Here is what I use... I get a water or dry baby wipes, then pour Isopol (Yes the one that is easier than Detol to get at the moment) into the wipe bag or container. You only need a little bit to wet it through. I keep a container in both my husband's my mum's and my car, and use it to disinfect both hands and car h...andles whenever we have been to the shops, patrol station or any other public places. If you can't fund Isopol or isopropynol, ethanol does the job as well. Keep safe and healthy. We will get through this and be stronger as an individual but also as wider community! #coronavirus #health #living #community

Personally, it has perhaps been the most difficult time I had to face in all my years of practising as a dentist. And it has been quite a few years. I have seen two major recessions, two wars our soldiers deployed overseas and many more changes to not only the field of dentistry but the whole world accepting and embracing the digital world. I h...ave met my wonderful husband and had a beautiful child. Throughout it all one thing has been constant. My parents' support and reminder regarding ethics and values I have learnt to uphold. With the ever tightening regulations from our governing entity as well as moral dilemma (yes, I do love my family very much and I am concerned about the possible impact my work will have on their physical and emotional health), the last two turbulent months have been most challenging. Please know that my staff and patients' well-being is very important to me. I have always dedicated myself to serving the community. Yes I am only a dentist, however, I stand by the belief I have always lived by "Do best to serve people and put their needs before my own needs if possible". So, it has not been an easy decision to make. As of today, Bona-Fide Dental remain open to help patients with urgent and emergency dental care by appointment only. This is in accordance with the recommendations outlined by Australian Dental Association (ADA) and Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC). P2N95 medical masks filter out 95% of particles in the air. These masks filter 95% of particles in the air and the pore size is extremely fine. It is 0.0003mm compared to 0.001mm of average extremely well made home masks. Home made masks are less than 1/3 effective at filtering particles. Wearing any masks gives a sense of safety.
