25.01.2022 Current Covid 19 advice from Cricket Victoria as of 16/11 for Blasters Cricket. Please note a decision has been made to run our Master Blasters program starting Friday 20/11 as we feel we can run this safely under the current Covid guidelines.

23.01.2022 Week 12 (28/2) - "Parent & Relative Session" + Presentation A fun way to end the Blasters season @ Bonbeach where we invite parents/relatives to get involved with their child's session. The presentation of this seasons Coaches Awards & Blaster participation medals to all the kids will then take place after the session.

23.01.2022 Blasters Registration is now open! Under the directive of Cricket Victoria, we are now open for registrations for this season of Blasters Cricket @ Bonbeach YCW Cricket Club. A 10 week program will run commencing Friday 20 November (4 weeks before Xmas, 6 weeks after Xmas Holiday Break). It goes without saying that creating a Covid safe environment is a priority as we stick to the guidelines below. ... To register go to https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details . Kids have been grouped to a field based on age & or school & this is where they must head too on arrival. This will be emailed out by 12pm today. Kids across Australia can now access 'Anywhere Blast,' a free at-home cricket experience including six 20-minute skills sessions led by Peter Siddle and Holly Ferling! A great option to keep kids engaged over lockdown until we can return to regular programs scheduled from 20 November. 09.01.2022 Stay safe & well Junior & Master Blasters!

05.01.2022 Junior Blasters Update Sadly on the advice of Cricket Victoria and in maintaining safe Covid practices, we won't be commencing the Junior Blasters Program till 5 February 2021 @ Bonbeach YCW. Keen 5 to 7 year olds though can still register (now at a cost of $89) to ensure they receive their Participation Pack well in advance. This will run as a 6 week program. Master Blaster Update Our Master Blaster and Girls Only Master Blaster groups will still be going ahead on 20 November. Enrolments for both programs are strong so there is every chance we may need to put a cap on Master Blaster numbers before it commences to stay Covid compliant. Please take this into consideration if you or you have a friend who still plans to register their child for Master Blasters at Bonbeach this season.

03.01.2022 Even though all junior sport has been postponed or called off at the moment, we are still working on the future vision of our club . OUR VISION: we have a visio...n for the redevelopment of our end of the reserve which includes a two storey pavilion to house our diversifying and growing community, leading us to engage with Cameron Howe who according to News Corp has led several of the region's largest projects. A new facility may include toilet facilities for all genders in addition to an office, bar, canteen and a function room for mixed community use. Complete with a balcony our 1,100 football, netball and cricket members would have an envious view. On the agenda are also oval drainage and lighting improvements, with a larger car park considered essential to accommodating existing and new members. Bonbeach YCW Junior Sports Club will commence discussions with all respective parties. What do you think? Tell us below.
