17.01.2022 After 33 days the Bonbeach Lockdown Challenge has come to an end. An impressive effort from both teams has seen "The Beaches" get the win over "The Sharks" by only 32 kms. The combined total distance covered is a staggering 7966.44 kms. Which is the equivalent of driving from Bonbeach to Adelaide, then up to Alice Springs and across to Port Douglas in FNQ, before driving back down along the coast back to Shark Park in Bonbeach. 03.01.2022 CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT Bonbeach Football Netball Club is thrilled to announce the signing of ex AFL on-baller David Armitage. 169 AFL games with the Saints over a 13 year career, Armo, partner Jessie and son Parker join the Sharks, as the club strives to break its 37 year senior premiership drought.... Highly sought Armitage adds further depth and physicality to our midfield in 2021. An outstanding leader he brings professionalism, enthusiasm, and a lead by example attitude. Off-field Armo is set to influence the development of our emerging under 19’s squad and enhance our junior engagement through our affiliate Bonbeach YCW. He joins 2020 signings Blaine Coates, Tyson Milne & Mitch Gent (full time) as well as current ex AFL player Trent Dennis- Lane and Justin Peckett (coach under 19’s).
