Make sure you download or update Team App & request access to the groups you belong Committee, Coaches or Team Managers & make sure you request access to all your children’s teams & groups. Whether your child plays in Junior or Master Blasters, the Rookies or Junior Teams Team App is how the club, coaches & team managers will communicate & record attendance. 23.01.2022 Get Excited Junior Cricket is Back SECA (South East Cricket Association) have announced the season will start Friday 20th & Saturday 21st November 2020 with a 12 round fixture. Last game before Christmas break will be Friday 18th & Saturday 19th December 2020. Games will return Friday 15th & Saturday 16th January 2021. Finals start Friday 5th & Saturday 6th March 2021 with the Grand Finals scheduled for Friday 12th & Saturday 13th March 2021. If required Friday 19th & Sa...turday 20th March will be the Reserve Grand Final if needed. Bonbeach YCW JCC have 8 teams entered U16 & below. A huge thankyou to all our volunteer coaches. 23.01.2022 It is with deep sadness that we announce to the Bonbeach YCW community on behalf of the Bonbeach YCW Junior Cricket Club, Bonbeach YCW Junior Football Club and Bonbeach YCW Junior Sports Club, the passing of Andrew (Andy) Peake. Andy has been an integral figure at the club for over 13 years with both his boys Will and Ojo (Oliver) playing cricket and football at the club. During this time, Andy has been someone who has made a difference to our club. Inducted as a Bonbeach YWC... Life Member in 2017, Andy was Cricket President from 2016 to 2019. During this time, Andy laid the foundations for the growth that the cricket club is experiencing now. Andy spent many hours working on or at the club and this continued right up until recently, doing what he could to help out. It was an honour for many of us to spend time with Andy at the cricket presentation and social evening last Saturday night, where he received the President’s Best Clubman Award from current President Sandy Jamieson This was in recognition of Andy’s contribution during 2019/20 season marking the grounds, support & guidance to players, coaches & committee. He was also there to see Ojo collect multiple awards for the 2019/2020 season. His passion for cricket was immense with Andy playing cricket only up until recently, and he is also a Life Member at the Mentone Cricket Club. Andy was also extremely active with the football club, where again, he had done a mountain of work behind the scenes, helping out on match day umpiring, runner or water carrier and he also loved to spend time behind the bar chatting to all of us as we passed through. You could always count on Andy for a no-nonsense opinion, to give great advice or for a chat about any subject, including golf, his other great passion. Andy was a great mate, coach, president, mentor and clubman, but more than that, Andy was a true family man who was absolutely dedicated to his Family. Our thoughts, love and support are with Marion (Mazi), Will and Ojo during this difficult time and it’s at this time that we wrap our arms around them. Farewell Andy our friend, you will forever be loved and remembered at the ‘little club in the corner where you have made such a difference.

22.01.2022 Bats up if you’re ready for Cricket The 2020/21 SECA Junior Cricket Season kicked off last night with Bonbeach YCW fielding 2 x U14 & 2 x U16 teams. Today it’s 4 teams again with 2 x U12 & 2 x Rookies teams. Wednesday sees the U18’s play their first game for the season. This awesome pic from Maree Cassidy are players from our U12C’s who started their season this morning. Great to see junior sport back. Go Sharks
