08.01.2022 Bushfire sunrise #SouthBondi #BushfireSeason #DownUnder Yes, it’s that time of year again. I stepped out of my apartment building this morning to the smell of bushfire smoke and a haze in the air. Fortunately it is nowhere near the intensity of this time last year, but shout-outs to all of the volunteers at NSW Rural Fire Service @nswrfs, "the world's largest volunteer fire service, providing fire and emergency services to over 95 percent of New South Wales, and sending ...my love/thoughts out to anyone still impacted along the east coast of Australia from last year’s fires. Donate to the @nswrfs if you can. They do amazing work! . For sunrise photographers like me, the bushfire haze in the morning only intensifies the beautiful skies that we tend to get along the east coast of Australia this time of year and images only need the lightest of touches (I’ve added zero Saturation or Vibrance to this image in @Lightroom) when you edit them, as they are quite brilliant!
